Send us the part, we send it back working

You do not have to come to Długołęka. A torque converter, mechatronics unit, valve body, gearbox computer or DPF can be sent to us by courier from anywhere in Poland and Europe. We diagnose it, quote before the repair and send it back to the same address.

Automatic transmission parts warehouse: torque converters on shelves, valve bodies in containers, complete transmissions on pallets
How it works

Four steps from your message to a working part

  1. Write to us before you send anything

This step matters most: a part sent without prior arrangement waits in the warehouse until somebody works out whose it is. Give us the make, model, year, VIN and gearbox code if you know it, describe the symptom and attach a photo.

  2. Pack it and send it

Secure the part so it cannot move inside the box and send it with the courier of your choice. Put a note inside with your name, phone number and the same description of the symptom you sent us in your message.

  3. Diagnosis and quote

Once the part is stripped down we know what is damaged. You get a price and a lead time before we start the repair. We do nothing without your consent.

  4. Repair and return

After the repair the part goes back to the same address together with the invoice. The return method and its cost are agreed in writing, along with the quote.

What we take

Parts we repair by post

This is the same scope of work we do for cars standing in our workshop. The only difference is that the part arrives on its own, without the car.

* We also take complete gearboxes, but pallet shipments are arranged separately: weight and packing method change the transport cost.

  • Torque converters
  • Mechatronics from dual-clutch gearboxes
  • Valve bodies
  • TCM gearbox computers: repair, cloning, programming
  • DPF and FAP particulate filters and catalytic converters
  • Complete automatic gearboxes*
Before you send

Four things worth knowing beforehand

We state them up front, because each of them tends to surprise people only once the part is already on its way.

Prior arrangement
Always before shipping
A parcel that arrives with no prior message sits in the warehouse and waits. One message shortens the whole thing by several days.
Lead time
Given with the quote
The lead time depends on what is damaged and whether the parts are in stock. You get it together with the price, before the repair, not after it.
Quote
Before the repair
We start the repair only once you have accepted the amount. If the quote does not suit you, we send the part back untouched.
Transport
Agreed in writing
You send the parcel to us. The return method and its cost are agreed together with the quote, so there is no surprise on delivery.
Packing

How to pack a part so it arrives in one piece

  1. Drain the oil

Send torque converters and valve bodies drained. Couriers do not accept liquids, and the oil will leak out and soil the parcel anyway.

  2. Stop it moving in the box

Damage in transit comes almost entirely from the part moving inside the box. Bubble wrap or polystyrene all around, so that nothing shifts when the parcel is shaken.

  3. Put a note with your details inside

Your name, phone number, the make and model of the car and a description of the symptom. That note inside is the only link between the parcel and your case once the waybill peels off.

ALL OF EUROPE

Parcels from all of Europe are handled on the same terms

We accept parts for repair from all over Europe

You can send a torque converter, mechatronics, valve body or DPF by courier from any country. We repair it and send it back to the same address.

We ship parts across Europe

We send automatic transmission parts by courier to any country in Europe. Tell us what you need and we will reply whether we have it in stock and how long delivery takes.

No customs duty inside the European Union

A parcel from a Union country needs no customs clearance and no customs paperwork. For a parcel from outside the Union we agree the documents separately, before you send anything.

We correspond in English

We confirm the scope, the price and the lead time in writing before we start the repair. The point is that nothing crosses a border unless it has been agreed.

INVOICING AND TAX

Terms for customers outside Poland

The points below describe how we invoice repairs for customers outside Poland and who bears the transport cost. They describe our practice and are not tax advice: ask your own accountant how to account for the invoice at your end.

1. Business with an EU VAT number: invoice without Polish VAT

We are registered for intra-Community transactions and our number is PL9111141122. A business holding a valid EU VAT number in another Union country receives an invoice without Polish VAT: the tax is accounted for by the customer in their own country under the reverse charge. We check the number in the VIES database before issuing the invoice, so please send it together with your full company name and address.

2. Private customers and businesses without an EU VAT number

The invoice includes Polish VAT at 23 percent. Work on movable goods is taxed where it is physically carried out, and we carry it out in Poland. We issue the invoice to the details you give us before the repair starts.

3. When you get the invoice

The invoice travels with the repaired part and we also send a copy by e-mail. Payment terms are agreed in writing together with the quote, before we start work.

4. Transport both ways

The customer sends and pays for the parcel to us. The return method and its cost are agreed in writing together with the repair quote, so that the total is known before the work starts, not after the parcel arrives back.

BEFORE YOU SEND

Questions we hear about repairs by post

Can I send just the part, without the car?

Yes, and that is the point of this page. We repair torque converters, mechatronics units, valve bodies, gearbox computers and DPFs without the car. The car is only needed when a diagnosis has to be made on a moving vehicle or when a module has to be programmed to one specific car.

How much does it cost to repair a part sent in?

The price depends on what is damaged, and that is only known once the part is stripped down. So we quote after the diagnosis and start the repair once you accept the amount. If the quote does not suit you, we send the part back untouched.

How long does it take?

We give the lead time together with the quote, because it depends on the damage and on parts availability. Transport both ways has to be added to the repair time.

Will I get an invoice?

Yes, every repair is invoiced. A business with a valid EU VAT number in another Union country gets the invoice without Polish VAT, under the reverse charge. Our number is PL9111141122.

What if the part cannot be repaired?

We will say so plainly and give you the reason. A replacement part is usually cheaper at that point, and our warehouse is full of them. We do not force a repair on something that would come back in a month.

Describe the part and the symptom, we will tell you if it is our job

One message before you ship saves several days. Attach a photo of the part and the gearbox code if you know it.

Which code to look for on the registration document

On the last page of the vehicle registration document there is a dense square. That is the Aztec code.

Your vehicle

Give us the VIN, or the year and engine. Either one is enough.
