Terms of service

The terms on which we take in vehicles and parts for repair: how a quote is produced, when we start work, what the warranty covers and how to raise a complaint. Short, and without cross-references to clauses nobody reads.

In force from 18 September 2026 · P.H.U. Robert Doliński ASB Długołęka

1. Who provides the services

Services are provided by P.H.U. Robert Doliński ASB Długołęka, ul. Wrocławska 6G, 55-095 Długołęka, Poland. Tax ID (NIP) 911-114-11-22, REGON 930975380, EU VAT PL9111141122. Contact: +48 71 315 26 72, asbrobert@wp.pl. The workshop is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:00.

2. What these terms cover

These terms cover workshop services: repair and rebuilding of automatic gearboxes, diagnostics, oil changes, rebuilding of torque converters, valve bodies and mechatronics units, and cleaning of DPF filters. They apply both to vehicles taken in at the workshop and to parts sent by courier.

These terms do not cover mail-order sales of parts. We sell through Allegro and OtoMoto, and the terms of those services apply there, including their rules on returns and complaints.

3. How a repair starts

A repair starts with contact: by phone, through the form on this site or in person. We agree a date to take the vehicle in, or the address the parcel with the part should go to. To take the job on we need the vehicle details: make, model, year of manufacture and VIN.

4. Diagnosis and quote

The scope of a repair cannot be established without a diagnosis, so every job starts with one. Diagnostic prices are stated openly on the service page: 300 PLN for the basic one, from 500 PLN for the extended one. We give the repair price after the diagnosis, before work starts.

We carry out the repair only once the customer has accepted the quote. If the customer does not accept it, we hand the vehicle back or return the part with no repair started, and only the diagnosis carried out is charged.

5. A change of scope during the repair

If stripping down the gearbox or the part shows damage wider than the diagnosis indicated, we stop work and contact the customer. The scope and the price change only with the customer's consent.

6. Lead time and payment

We give the repair lead time together with the quote. It depends on the extent of the damage and on parts availability, so it cannot be stated in advance for every repair. The method and timing of payment are agreed together with the quote, before work starts.

Every service performed is invoiced. A customer that is a business holding a valid EU VAT number in another European Union country receives an invoice without Polish VAT, under the reverse charge.

7. Parts sent by courier

We take parts for repair from all of Poland and from Europe. A separate page on repairs by post sets out the rules, how to pack a part and how transport costs are shared. The customer sends and pays for the parcel to the workshop, and the return method is agreed together with the quote.

8. Warranty

We give a warranty on our repairs. Its period, terms, the duties of both sides, how to report a fault and what is excluded are set out on the separate „Warranty" page, which forms part of these terms. We state the terms before the repair, not when the vehicle is collected.

9. Complaints

Complaints about work carried out are made by phone on +48 71 315 26 72, by e-mail to asbrobert@wp.pl or in person at the workshop. We need the VIN, the date of the repair and a description of what the vehicle is doing. We reply on working days and arrange a date to inspect the vehicle.

Raising a complaint does not exclude the rights the customer has under the law, in particular consumer rights where a service does not conform to the contract.

10. Personal data

We process the details given with an order in order to carry out the service and to contact the customer. The privacy policy sets out what data we collect, on what basis, for how long we keep it and what rights the customer has.

11. Final provisions

Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law. These terms are in force from 18 September 2026. Orders taken in before a change to these terms are governed by the wording in force on the day the order was taken in.

Which code to look for on the registration document

On the last page of the vehicle registration document there is a dense square. That is the Aztec code.

Give us the VIN, or the year and engine. Either one is enough.
